Health and Human Service Professionals

With the emergence of social media and now the introduction of artificial intelligence, true communication is becoming a lost art, however, we all agree, it still remains as the most important skill to human nature. When it comes to connecting, building trust, listening and truly helping people with change there is no greater model than Motivational Interviewing. Created as a highly successful change management process, M.I. strategically arranges conversations in such a way where people talk themselves into change based on their own values, motivations, and interests. M.I. replaces the traditional communication trap of simple question-and-answer sessions with specialized reflective listening and empathetic responses specifically designed to engage and build trust. Therefore, instead of creating barriers, M.I. moves communication/change forward as a positive collaboration between two people. Change; whether it’s on a personal level or global, simple or complex, happens every day. Will you be ready? Motivational Interviewing will change your world! And we offer CEUs for your level of licensing.

We have created a 2-part, training series where each class beautifully acts as both a cumulative and standalone training module to build the fundamental principles of M.I. for Health and Human Service professionals.  Each course is specifically designed to focus on a different and specific key element of M.I. for Health and Human Service while concurrently re-introducing and practicing past instructions to the potentially returning student.   Therefore, we have given the student the autonomy to select an M.I. specific discipline which fits their role/purpose or the decision to go through the entire 3-part training series to gain proficiency, confidence and ultimately fidelity as a Master Practitioner by the final course.
