Jeffery Decker Bio:

Jeffery Decker, Director and C.E.O., M.S. Jeffery’s professional career began in the United States Army, where he served six years. He then received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Nebraska. For fifteen years Jeffery served in law enforcement starting with the Garden City Police Department in Garden City, Kansas then eventually as a Trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol. During his tenure with the State Patrol, he obtained a position to the Nebraska State Patrol’s Academy as an instructor in numerous, specialized police training systems and as coach, mentor, and leader to the basic recruit Troopers.

Jeff moved to St. Helens, Oregon where he worked as a Protective Service Investigator for approximately three years with the State of Oregon through Columbia Community Mental Health (CCMH). Paralleling his position as a Protective Service Investigator, Jeff received his Master’s degree in Leadership through Cappella University. He proudly graduated on the President’s List with a 4.0. Jeff then served the citizens of Washington State by becoming a Program Manager within the Training Unit of The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). It was here that he was introduced to Motivational Interviewing and was pivotal in its implementation to all the social workers within the State of Washington.
